Heng Fat Restaurant: Your Go-To Spot for Authentic Chinese Cuisine in Sacramento

They have a delicious Chicken and green beans in black bean sauce lunch special. So good I drive across town to get it here.

The food here is really, really good!! Ordered two house special chow mein, two Hunan beef, two salt and pepper chicken, one house special fried rice and one general chicken for my birthday. Ready in about 30 mins. Food was hot and delicious! All these dishes are amazing! I love the food here. Come here for delicious Asian food!!

Been going here since I was a kid, and I return every year when I visit Sacramento for the holidays. Love the sesame chicken, sweet and sour pork, chow mein, hunan chicken, coconut shrimp… honestly everything is so good

A colleague's recommendation led me to Heng Fat, a conveniently located Chinese restaurant. Upon mentioning it was my first visit, I was greeted with enthusiastic endorsements from fellow diners, praising it as the best in the area. My sesame chicken combo was exceptional, confirming their claims. Subsequent visits with coworkers, sampling various dishes family-style, further solidified Heng Fat's reputation as the premier Chinese eatery in the southern region.

I don't never ever dine in. The interior just looks depressing but the food is great. The inside usually don't get pack or busy, but "pick up" orders are constantly being placed. The cooks are working constantly, and for a good reason. Almost every dish is a hit. I would rate the taste/quality of food, of this restaurant, to be among one of the better rated chinese food resturants in Sacramento (i.e. Chef Bo, Frank's Fat, Golden Dragon). I judge most chinese restaurants by their fried rice. Fried rice is one of the most simplest dish to cook. If you mess that up, all other dishes are questionable. The point is Heng Fat fried rice is on point and their food tastes fantastic. Huge portions and reasonably priced.

I really like the sesame chicken and the wonton soup. The food is plenty and price is great. The first time I had the small wonton soup I had wish I bought a large. It was the best. I tried it another day again in a large and didn’t taste as good. I’m chasing that high.

The food is DELICIOUS here. You Have to try the Cashew Chicken-or-Tofu. Spicy Chicken is to Die for!!! My husband LOVES, LOVES, them!!! He goes there just to eat the Wings with egg drop soup and steamed rice. The Staff are so kind and polite here. We love eating here. Please don't forget to tip the staff, they ×work hard to make our experience as good as it can be.

The Chinese Food here is without a doubt - the best quality for the price hands down in South Sacramento. The orange and sesame chicken were both glazed heavily with deliciousness while the fried rice and chowmein made a perfect combination of harmony. I love eating lunch here a few times a week, you can't beat the PRICE and QUALITY!
